Expressionless is one word for it. I would call it "have no face". Nevertheless the eyes are still not "out there" for an expressionless feeling. It seems as if she was thinking something about the person she is looking at (the viewer). I guess she's... surprised?

Love the background though, it really is night sky. And as always, envious of the hair. I just can't get through the shine you give your characters on the face, but that is your style I guess. x.X Great job on the overall picture though, it looks very nice.

By looking at it, I guess it is the fact that the eyes "look at someone" which gives it a surprise effect, seeing how wide she opens her eyes. If they were a bit closed and looking in front of her instead, it would seem she is either lost in thought or just out of it, giving her less emotions on the face.

Splendid work, Distance! I absolutely love her hair and the way the fabric is shaded. And those big eyes pop against her otherwise white skin and hair! They look sooooo.... um, what's the word? I don't know! Just... eye-catching and cool.
