I've wanted to make an eye tutorial for a very very long time now... ;-; I hope it's easy enough to follow!!
Remember that every step is a new layer!!

It helps if the edges of the eyes are slightly blurred. (sorry I completely forgot about putting that in the tutorial xD;;)

I uploaded the file if you would like to color the lineart for practice! Everything is pre-filled in so you can start shading right away!

    I have a question...!
    Sorry if this is written somewhere obvious and I'm being totally blind,
    but what tool did you use to make the soft-looking flat color in step 1? I think I tried doing it with the watercolor tool but it didn't turn out very well! u.u;

Any time I want to fill a layer with one color I use the airbrush tool (I modified it so it's completely hard and like 300 px) and then just cover over it xD (see this pic: [link])
